LaGuardia Airport mostly handles domestic flights, but may accept the occasional international flight. Approximately 23 million passengers fly through LaGuardia every year. Usually if you are flying within the USA and traveling to New York City this will be the airport you fly through. Driving into the city will take you anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Tolls cost about $4 depending on which route you take. Taxis are another option if you don’t feel like making the journey on your own. Usually they cost about $15 to $30 dollars excluding tolls, again … be sure to bring cash! Limousine services are also available for those who like to travel in style. The best option for travel to the city from LaGuardia is the New York Airport Service ExpressBus.
