John F. Kennedy International Airport is located on the Southeast portion of New York City in Queens. It is the busiest Artery of international air transportation in the United States. About 46 million passengers fly through JFK every year. JFK mainly handles international flights, even including a zone which is run by the United Nations. Driving into the city by car will take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are widely available have a set rate of $45 to get you into Manhattan. There are several options available depending on your intended destination. Usually busses will cost $14 or $15 and run morning to night. There are 3 main options available. From these locations it is easy to catch a quick cab or bus to your hotel other destination.
